Location is Everything is in The Villages. Deciding which area of The Villages best suits your needs (or is the best value) is one of the most important decisions you will make. If you fall in love with a floorplan, many can be found throughout The Villages though sometimes by a different name.
There are Tax Advantages to certain areas of The Villages which in combination with bond (CDD) payments can make a Substantial Difference in the carrying cost of a home.
The size of The Villages is difficult for most newcomers to envision, especially considering much of transportation is done by golf cart. Even with a tuned up cart (20mph+), it would you take 1 hour 30 minutes or more to drive from the most northern course (Nancy Lopez) to most southern course (Shallow Creek).
You might also consider one of the golfing or family communities near The Villages.
